What Do You Think Of The New Design?

The WordPress premium theme that I have been using for only a couple of months on this blog became corrupt last night (I’m not sure if this is a database issue as it has happened several times before) so instead of moaning I thought a new theme would be a good idea.

I am quite pleased with the outcome. It looks a lot less cluttered than the previous two themes that I have had put in place. And takes much more less time to load than any theme I have ever used on any of my blogs.

At the bottom I have added four new features that have often been missing from my previous blog themes:

Recent Comments

This is something that I have seen on other blogs and have never got around to installing. It simply allows you to see the last five most recent comments left on this blog.

Latest Tweets

Twitter is a very popular social media tool these days and I have been using it for a while and thought I’d include a feature where you get to see my last five tweets that I’ve sent.

Most Popular Posts

This is a no-brainer. Every blogger should want to show off their most popular posts.

Follow Me On Twitter

This is not actually a feature, it is more a linked button offering you the chance to follow me on Twitter. Please be aware that I do swear and use adult humour in some of my tweets.

I am not finished yet, I shall probably add a few more things to the theme layout as I go along but at the moment I am very happy with the outcome so far.

What do you guys think? What would you add or remove from this blog?

I didn’t happen to see your blog before, but currently the theme is quite nice. Clean and smooth, not cluttered at all. Good work.

      Thanks for the kind words.

The banneer is something I am looking to replace, I suck at graphics so have to wait for a friend of mine to sort it out for me.

      Thanks for dropping by. 🙂
