  • Thanks for these tips on how to build your brand. I just started working on building my online brand a couple months ago. These tips will ensure that I am on the right track.

I like how you mention to stay consistent with your brand. I tend to not do that sometimes.

    Have a great day.

    • Oh boy have I done that many times before! I suffer from ADHD and find it incredibly difficult to stay focused a lot of the time, but I’m finding ways of helping me beat this, one way is setting up a workout schedule. 🙂

  • I agree with you about the importance if branding. Before I start any new website I always check http://namechk.com/ to see if I can get my new brand name or website on as many of the social media brand building platforms as possible.

If I can’t get Facebook, Twitter or YouTube, I don’t go any further with that name. I try a different one until I make sure my branding is consistent across the web.

    • I would also urge you to make sure you are happy with that domain, I have recently changed the name of the blog and there was SO MUCH to change that it made my head spin, and there were some things that I couldn’t change, like the name of my 600+ Facebook fan page.

  • Building awareness i agreed, infact that is the most important thing about advertising in the internet, it makes it easier for one to build awareness about his/her business almost instantly.
