1 – Yet Another Related Posts Plugins (YARPP)

You need to retain your blog viewers and turn them into loyal followers. You may do this with YARPP–a plugin that was created by programmers who consider themselves realists. Many people are going to take a look at your blog, click off, and never visit your blog again. Even the people who read your blog post are not liable to find anything of interest that draws them back in the future. This plugin will introduce the readers of your blog to your other blog posts in the hope that they find something of interest.

The plugin is sophisticated enough to target (at least partially) the reader of your blog. If we assume that the reader of your blog post has clicked on it out of an interest for the subject matter, then introducing him/her to posts on the same subject matter would be advisable. This plugin reads the tagged keywords of the post being read and displays other posts with similar keywords. The plugin is clever in that it also considers page titles too.

2 – WP to Twitter

This app allows you to keep your Twitter profile updated, and allows you to update it quickly. It is a nice way of allowing you to promote your blog on your Twitter account as soon as you update your blog. 3 – WP Super Cache

7 – SEO Smart Links

This plugin helps you to create links that have anchor text in them. Google prefers it if you add words to your links so that they can guess at what your link is pointing towards. Therefore, if you add targeted keywords to your links then the SEO rating improves significantly. This plugin helps you to find your best keywords for your links and then installs them for you. It is a very good tool for automatically linking your posts to your other posts.

8 – Google XML Sitemaps

You are supposed to submit an XML file to Google if you want to be sure that all of your blog posts are listed online in a timely manner. This plugin helps you to generate that XML file so that you can send it off to Google. It also has a notification function that is linked to the search engines–which operates if you update your blog post.

An uninspired title but as succinct as it needs to be. It has a few tools that help you to optimize your WordPress blog for Google. It has different tools for dealing with different elements of on-page and off-page SEO.

10 – Akismet

This is a Spam blocker that you may use to stop people installing Spam links and Spam Comments on your blog posts. It is more of a time saver than it is a genuine spam blocker, as you should consider it more like a small spider’s web; it catches hundreds of annoying little flies but is going to let bigger flies though.

I completely agree. These are some of the most important WordPress plugins every bloggers should be adding to their website’s portfolio.
All In One SEO, Akismet and and SEO Smart Links are absolutely important SEO tools. However, WordPress SEO by Yoast is also an awesome plugin and I recently switched to it as I found it very useful as well.

    Thanks for sharing.

I have no idea how I managed to live without the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin for so long, I wrote this BEFORE I discovered it and I find it so much better and easier than All In One SEO plugin. 🙂

  2. Teeth Whitening

I actually used All-in-one-SEO tool for my wordpress website. And I found it really useful and effective for my SEO campaign as well. I want to try the broken link checker.. It seems a good tool..

Broken Link Checker is a great tool, but it takes a lot of resources to run, so what I do is only activate it when I need it (have a spring clean every few months), otherwise it will slow your hosting account down and your host might not like it.

I would say give All In One SEO a miss and check out Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin instead. 🙂
